| Norm Rader IS just like the Energizer Bunny...he keeps going and going and going....
Saturday evening at Palm Beach Kennel Club, Rader’s Switzler Jammin routed the competition as he romped to victory in the $25,000 He’s My Man Classic, winning for the kennel their third consecutive stakes victory.
In the Classic final, it was Switzler Jammin breaking from the five post - make that exploding from the five post - and taking a four-length lead entering the backstretch. From there on out it was a cake walk to the finish line. Jammin, the runner-up to his brother in last September’s $20,000 Labor Day Puppy Stakes, won by an extraordinary ten lengths in a remarkable 545-yard Royal Palm Course clocking of 29.47 seconds. Going off as the even money favorite, he returned $4.00 for the win ticket.
Shaw City, WTD Right Right and TA’s Inahurry finished second, third and fourth respectively.
The complete 2007 $25,000 He’s My Man Classic order of finish:
1st - #5 Switzler Jammin (Galena - Switzler Roxcee, Rader Racing)
2nd - #8 Shaw City (Gable Dodge - Claytster, Satin Kennel)
