The headline sponsors were Wells Fargo and Bettor Racing OTB; presenting sponsor was Maroone Cadillac and participating sponsors Joseph C. Kempe, PA and Bonneau Accounting Services.
“It was a fantastic turnout and our biggest Rooney’s 5k ever! The number of runners, monies raised and most of all, the enthusiam topped all of our previous races. A special thanks to Race Director, Dave Ragsdale, as well as our volunteers and sponsors for all of their efforts. We couldn't have done it without them! Thanks again to all the runners and volunteers,” said Alexis Barbish, Race Coordinator.
. A pre-registration party was held at Rooney's Public House in Abacoa the night before the race. All sponsors and participants were invited to pick up their numbers, goodie bags, and T-shirts while dining on the Carb Buffet or Irish favorites and listening to live music.
